1. General information
The Final Degree Project corresponds to the compulsory module of the degree subjects and constitutes in some way the culmination of the studies carried out in the degree, both in terms of content and methodological aspects. In this work the students will have to demonstrate the acquired competences, which will allow them to write a scientific essay and defend it orally.
These approaches and objectives are aligned with the following Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations Agenda 2030 2030 of the United Nations, so that the acquisition of the learning results of the subject provides training and competence to contribute to some extent to their achievement:
Goal 4: Quality Education.
Goal 5: Gender Equality.
Goal 10: Reduction of Inequalities
Goal 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions
Goal 17: Alliances to Achieve Objectives.
2. Learning results
The purpose of the Final Degree Project is to demonstrate that students have acquired the generic and specific competences of the Degree that appear in the Verification Report, especially the so-called systemic competences (CG23 to 31) and the specific academic competences (CE23 to 26), as well as the corresponding methodological tools. It must prove that the students have the necessary knowledge to face the professional world in an autonomous way.

4. Academic activities
The director will establish the methodology they considers appropriate for the elaboration of the Final Project, both in general orientation classes and in individual tutorials. The main learning activity are the periodic tutorials to follow up on the preparation of the work (information, supervision, clarification of doubts, correction).
After the assignment of the director of the Final Degree Project, a calendar of the development of the activities will be drawn up. The schedule of attendance to tutorials will be established by the director of the work.
5. Assessment system
Students must carry out an academic research work, corresponding to 6 ECTS, according to their interests and preferences, on a topic related to one of the lines of research proposed by the Department. For the preparation of such work, a director will be assigned to advise, supervise its development and approve it before its deposit.
The descriptive report of the Final Degree Project shall be governed by the regulations of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters (https://fyl.unizar.es/conceptos-basicos). The minimum length of the work report shall be, according to these standards, of 1000.
(up to a maximum of 15,000 words) and may incorporate, in addition, the annexes that are considered necessary.
The evaluation and defines of the work will be in accordance with current regulations (https://fyl.unizar.es/procedimiento- evaluacion-tfg-2022-2023). The assessment criteria will be the following: quality of its structure and its contents, demonstrated capacity to propose hypotheses and use appropriate methodologies, critical capacity, linguistic correctness and, in general, the level of achievement of the competencies. Likewise, the quality of the oral presentation will be taken into account.
